At that time all the souls stay in the space of this planetary system. The power that created this planetary system, Brahma, holds all the souls into himself, and he sleeps. When he wakes up the sun becomes enlivened again. This is a cycle that is happening since trillions of years. The Divine power gives energy to the sun, the sun revives, and the earth flourishes. Plants become plants, humans become humans, animals become animals and appear exactly as they were prior to the casual death of the sun.

The destiny of the earth planet is predetermined by the collective karmas of all the souls of this earth planet and cannot be changed. Destiny means all the physical disasters of this earth; earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, the rise and fall of kingdoms, world wars, etc. When any major physical disaster happens on the face of this earth it is the human beings who suffer.
If people who have no peace in their heart and mind collectively try to pray to God to bring peace on the earth, how is it going to affect the destiny of the planet? It cannot affect it in any way. Every devotee also has some bad destiny but that is to some extent removed with devotion, but destiny cannot become completely removed. For instance, you are going to have an accident and get thirty fractures in your body, if you become a devotee you might only get five fractures, but you will still meet that accident as destined.
The same applies to the destiny of this earth planet. Who caused the bad destiny of this planet? The collective negativity of the bad karmas of the human beings has become the bad destiny of the earth planet. If people enter into divine-love-consciousness that may change the bad destiny of this earth planet, nothing else.
