Swami Prakashanand Saraswati on the Divine Glory of Ramayan

Swami Prakashanand Saraswati beautifully explains that the Ramayan is not just a historical account but a divine scripture revealing the supreme leelas of Bhagwan Ram, who descended from Saket with His brothers. Both Valmiki and Tulsidas had divine vision and described these leelas with deep spiritual insight. Their writings reflect the divinity of Ram and the blissful atmosphere of Ayodhya that was immersed in His name and love.

According to Swami Prakashanand Saraswati

Ramayan describes the Divine leelas of Bhagwan Ram Who descended on the earth planet 18.144 million years ago in Ayodhya from His Divine abode, Saket, along with His brothers Lakchman, Bharat and Shatrughn. The eternal consort of Ram, Goddess Sita, had descended in Mithila, the kingdom of King Janak, who was called videh (one who is free from worldly desires) because he was always absorbed in the Bliss of absolute brahm.

“During the period of Ram everyone in His kingdom was engrossed in His love. The whole of Ayodhya had become the ‘form’ of Ram as there was no other talk in the town except Ram.” This statement shows the Divineness of the entire Ayodhya.
